Air Force Reserve Component personnel are responsible for providing guidance for operations in support of U.S. African Command and the 17th Expeditionary Air Force. These individuals are also responsible for maintaining and modernizing the Air Force’s field equipment. This office provides global strategic sourcing support, certification of NAF contracting officers, and training in the Air Force’s procurement policy. The mission of the AFNAFPO is to provide value through complex contracts and support for the NAF’s worldwide activities. It is the only sourcing agency with a comprehensive portfolio.
