The newest addition to the park is the signature Garfield character. The new children’s area will feature a Garfield playhouse, complete with a small house and a garden for the kids. The children will love the new attraction and will have a blast with this family-friendly theme. The Garfield theme park will feature an interactive dummy that lets them play with the characters. The theme park also recently announced that the Garfield character would be joining the park’s kids’ area. This announcement follows the sale of the Six Flags theme park to the Italian company Bally. The ride, “Batman: Escape From Gotham City,” opened in May 1992 at Six Flags Great America. Besides the familiar batman, the ride features a lush landscape with audio tracks of children playing and birds chirping. Its high-speed chair lift, Batcave, has a Gotham City theme.
