Power comes from a 24 HP (17.9 kW) V-Twin gas engine with cast-iron cylinder liners, overhead valves, full-pressure lubrication, and electronic ignition. The Kanzaki® Tuff Torq® TLT200 hydrostatic transmission with side-by-side foot pedals delivers infinite speed control and easy direction changes.
The 48-in. Edge™ mower deck is a three-spindle, 12-gauge stamped steel design with 3-in-1 blades for tool-free transitions between discharging, mulching, and bagging. Upgraded features over S160 include a deluxe 14-in. steering wheel, upgraded gauges, and enhanced styling.
